On Thursday, You.com, launched Custom Assistants. It allows you to build AI assistants powered by ChatGPT, Claude, or Meta AI.
What is You.com?
It launched in 2021 as a Google competitor. Its aim is to be more personalized/secure than Google.
What can I do with Custom Assistants.
You can create AI assistants tailored for your specific needs. You can choose to power your assistant with GPT-4o, Llama 3, or Claude 3 Opus.
How does it work?
Go to You.com, click on More, then Add New. Then select your AI model, give it a name, and tell it what its purpose is.

How does it work?
You put in a prompt, and Showrunner generates up to 16-minute episodes with AI voice acting, consistent characters, and more. Then, you can edit the script, the shots, the voices, and more.
Whatโs the point?
The goal is to add interactivity, personalization, and more into whatโs a traditionally one-sided medium.
