MAIN COURSE

Clone yourself with AI. Here's how πŸ’β€β™‚οΈ πŸ€–

On Wednesday, Synthesia launched Personal Avatars. It allows you to create a realistic digital version of yourself.

How can I make one?

Sit in front of a webcam, read a 60-second text, and wait a day for the avatar to generate.

Why would I do this?

It’s useful for video content creation, presentations, marketing videos, or teaching in multiple languages without actually speaking them.

How does it work?

It clones your voice, capturing inflection and style, then adds animation and lip-syncing to a webcam photo.

So, it can replace me?

Nah. It's not perfect. Movements can be a bit off, and it might β€œcorrect” physical features you have.

How much does it cost?

The first plan with customization is $22 per month.

Access to all the best AI models for $10

Mammouth gives you access to the best LLMs:

  • Claude 3.5 Sonnet

  • GPT-4o

  • Llama 3.1 405b

  • Gemini Pro

  • Mistral Large 2

Together with the best AI generated images:

  • Midjourney

  • DALL-E

  • Stable Diffusion

and more for only $10.

SIDE SALAD

Top AI models come to GitHub πŸ§  πŸ‘¨β€πŸ’»

Yesterday, GitHub launched GitHub Models. It allows you to use different AI models directly in its platform of 100+ million developers.

What does it do?

It lets you experiment with and deploy top AI models from Meta, Mistral, and Microsoft's Azure OpenAI service right in your workflow.

Anything else?

There's a built-in playground for testing models like Llama 3.1, GPT-4o, and Mistral Large 2. It promises seamless integration from testing to production.

What’s up with GitHub?

They hit $2 billion annual revenue run rate, with Copilot driving 40% of revenue growth.

Will they sell my data?

Allegedly, no. GitHub says prompts and outputs won't be shared with model providers or used to improve the models.
