Introducing Pose-Tastic Text-to-Video Generation 🕺
New research from Tencent AI Lab and Tsinghua University in China makes it possible to animate digital characters perform based on written instructions.
Have you ever wished you could create a video of characters based on your own story and even control their poses? Well, some researchers at Tencent’s AI Lab just made that a reality.

They developed a new AI method that takes text descriptions and turns them into videos with pose-controllable characters.
Here's how they did it:
1/ They started with a pre-trained model that can generate images from text and added a special component for handling pose information.
2/ Then they taught the system to make the generated images look smooth and consistent over time, like a video.
Now, we have an AI system that can generate videos of characters based on text descriptions, controlled by poses. It's not just limited to poses, though – you can also use it for other types of control, like depth or edges.
Just imagine the possibilities this tech unlocks from storytelling to video game design!
