On Monday, Luma Labs’s Ray2 leaked. It’s a new AI video model that promises more realistic physics and smoother motion than OpenAI's Sora.

What can it do?

It creates 10-second videos from text or images, with advanced cinematography and realistic physics between objects and characters.

It understands how different objects interact — humans, creatures, vehicles — making videos look more natural than competitors.

How can I try it?

It's coming to Dream Machine and Amazon's AWS Bedrock soon. It’s not available yet.

ChatGPT now nags you⏰

On Wednesday, OpenAI added Tasks to ChatGPT. It allows you to send reminders and do recurring actions automatically.

What can it do?

Set reminders, schedule recurring tasks, and send notifications like weather updates or weekend plans.

How do I use it?

Just chat with ChatGPT to set tasks, or use the Tasks page on the web app. You'll get notifications by push or email.

Who can try it?

Plus, Team, and Pro users can use it now. You can have up to 10 active tasks during beta.

What's the catch?

Task management only works on the web app for now. Windows app support coming in Q1.

Why does it matter?

It's OpenAI's first step toward making ChatGPT more proactive — thinking ahead instead of just responding.

What's next?

More features coming, like voice commands and file uploads. This is just the start of AI becoming a true personal assistant.
