New model?
Gemma 2 2B is a small, 2-billion-parameter model that outperforms larger models, in conversational tasks.
What models does it beat?
On the LMSYS Chatbot Arena leaderboard, it beats Mixtral, GPT-3.5, Llama 2 70B, and more.
What about the safety thing?
ShieldGemma is a suite of safety classifiers that detect and filter harmful content in model inputs and outputs.

On Tuesday, NEURA Robotics unveiled the 4NE-1 humanoid robot. It released a demo video of the 4NE-1 ironing, moving boxes, and more.
What can it do?
The promo video shows it performing household chores, warehouse tasks, and more.
Where’d this thing come from?
NEURA Robotics along with Boston Dynamics, Figure, and 13 other companies were given access to NVIDIA’s humanoid development tools.

Too bad. It’s not available yet, only a demo video was released. Whether the production model lives up to this hype remains to be seen.
