Yesterday, Google held its annual Google I/O 2024 event. It unveiled new AI models, devices, and more. Here are the top 4 most exciting announcements:
Google Veo
It’s an AI model that generates high-quality video from text prompts. You can use natural language and cinematic terms to create realistic, consistent videos. It’s currently in private preview with a waitlist, but Google plans to integrate Veo into YouTube Shorts and other products.
Project Astra
It’s a real-time, multimodal AI assistant that processes video/speech input, recognizes your surroundings, and answers your questions. Google plans to integrate it into its products later this year.
