Yesterday, Stability AI unveiled Stable Fast 3D. It creates 3D images from a single 2D image in just half a second.
Half a second?
Stable Fast 3D is 1200 times faster than its predecessor, which took 10 minutes to generate a 3D asset.
What can I use it for?
You can use it for design work, architecture, retail, VR, game development, and more.
How does it work?
It uses an enhanced transformer network to generate high-res triplanes (3D volumetric representations). Then it combines mesh, textures, and material properties into a ready-to-use 3D asset.
