Blow thine enemies to tiny bits 🤖 💥
🇺🇸 ‘Murica. Last week, DARPA announced its RACER Heavy Platform (RHP) vehicle. It’s a 12-ton, combat vehicle that navigates autonomously.
I want one.
Right? The RHP weighs 12 tons, is about 20 feet long, and speeds through heavily varied terrains with ease.
Besides being awesome, what’s the point?
The RHP is the latest edition to the RACER (Robotic Autonomy in Complex Environments with Resiliency) program. It complements its smaller vehicles, which are already in use.
What are the other vehicles?
The RFVs (RACER Fleet Vehicles) weigh 2 tons, are about 11 feet long, and autonomously navigate through terrain with rocks, slopes, obstructed ditches, creek crossings, and more.

Instant image-to-3D objects 🌠 ➡️ ⭐️
Earlier this month, Tencent introduced InstantMesh. It renders complete 3D objects from images in less than 10 seconds.
What’s under the hood?
It combines a multi-view diffusion model with a sparse-view reconstruction model based on the Large Reconstruction Model (LRM) architecture.
Can I use it?
Yes, it’s fully open-source. Click here to take it for a spin.
