Yesterday, Italian researchers unveiled iRonCub3. It’s the world's first humanoid robot with built-in jet engines.

What's the big deal?

This 154-pound bot can fly, potentially revolutionizing disaster relief efforts.

It’s getting hot in here…

• 4 compact jet engines

• Over 225 pounds of thrust

• Exhaust temps exceeding 1,112°F

Why is it a game-changer?

Flying humanoids could access dangerous areas humans can't, making disaster response faster and safer.

What's the catch?

Early prototypes had a slight tendency to catch fire or explode.

AI showdown: ChatGPT vs. Claude 🤖⚔️🤖

Yesterday, I livestreamed and compared ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok-2. I tested their skills across various tasks.

What went down?

I fired a barrage of prompts at each AI model. I tested how the models brainstormed marketing ideas, created short stories about brain-eating robots, and much more.

Who came out on top?

It's complicated. Each model showed strengths and weaknesses in different areas:

• ChatGPT: Excelled at professional tone and informative content, but struggled with humor and casual conversation.

• Claude: Nailed casual tone and humor and handled long-form content best, but couldn't generate images.

• Grok-2: Shone in image generation, summarization and creativity, but couldn't handle long-form content.

Any surprises?

Claude was the only model able to handle summarizing a 4-hour podcast transcript. Also, Grok-2's image generation capabilities far outpaced ChatGPT’s.
