MAIN COURSE
Siri finally got smarter… Maybe 🍎 🤖
On Monday, Apple launched Apple Intelligence. This brings AI features to iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices.
What can it do right now?
It features AI-powered writing tools, notification summaries, photo cleanup, and a new Siri interface with text input.
Any more features coming?
In December, Siri is coming to ChatGPT, more writing tools will be here, visual intelligence will be here for identifying objects, and it’s expanding to more countries.
Any catches?
Oh, yeah. The new features are marked as “beta,” there’s a waitlist to try it, it needs recent hardware (M-series chips or latest iPhones/iPads), and it’s US English only for now.
Where will it be available next?
Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, and UK in December.
Is it revolutionary?
Nah. It's more of an “AI starter kit” with familiar features we've seen before.
When do the big updates arrive?
Major Siri upgrades and app integration coming in 2025.

On Monday, GitHub unveiled Spark. It’s a tool that lets anyone create apps just by describing them in plain language.
What can you make with it?
Anything from newsreaders to allowance trackers without writing code.
How does it work?
You describe your app idea, watch it build in real-time, then make changes via text prompts and get different versions of the app to compare.
What does Spark do?
Spark handles all the technical stuff like hosting, databases, AI features, and more in a “managed runtime environment.”
Can you share your apps?
Yup. Sparks work on phones, tablets, and computers, and others can use or customize them.
When can I try it?
It's in technical preview with a waitlist system.
SWEET DESSERT
A great ChatGPT use case 🤖 🎸
Yesterday, I livestreamed a unique musical experiment. It was a guitar jam session with ChatGPT acting as a custom DJ.
How did it work?
I made a custom ChatGPT-powered bot that played DJ. It selected/mixed music while I improvised guitar over the tracks.
How long did it go?
About 2 and a half hours of continuous jamming, with some technical hiccups (The sound cut out at the end).
Where was it streamed?
Simultaneously on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and TikTok.
How did the AI DJ perform?
Surprisingly well, consistently serving up tracks that worked for guitar improvisation.
Any audience interaction?
Viewers from VA, Pittsburgh, Arizona, and more commented live across platforms, with the stream getting positive feedback about the AI DJ's selections.
