MAIN COURSE

Anthropic Claude Enterprise ๐Ÿค– ๐Ÿ’ผ

On Wednesday, Anthropic unveiled Claude Enterprise. It's a new subscription plan for businesses that directly competes with OpenAI's ChatGPT Enterprise.

What's new with Claude Enterprise?

It boasts a massive 500K token context window, far surpassing ChatGPT Enterprise's 128K window.

What can it handle?

With the 500K context window, Claude can process:

  • Up to 100 30-minute sales transcripts

  • Up to 100K lines of code

  • Up to 15 full financial reports

Any cool integrations?

Yup. There's a GitHub integration in beta, allowing teams to sync repositories and use Claude for debugging, onboarding, and feature development.

Is it secure?

Anthropic claims so. It offers SSO, role-based permissions, audit logs, and SCIM. Plus, they don't train Claude on enterprise user data.

Who's using it already?

Early adopters include GitLab and Midjourney.

How can I get it?

Interested teams can contact Anthropic Sales for pricing and setup details.

SIDE SALAD

So nice, AI does it twice ๐Ÿค– ๐Ÿ“š

Last Thursday, researchers unveiled a new AI technique called RE2. It improves AI performance by making systems 're-read' questions twice before answering.

What is RE2?

It's a simple technique that mimics human behavior by having AI systems repeat the question before answering.

How effective is it?

RE2 significantly improves AI performance in math, common sense, and symbolic reasoning tasks.

Does it work with different AI models?

Yup. It's effective across various AI models and can be combined with other reasoning techniques.

Is more repetition better?

Nope. The method works best when repeating the question twice. More repetitions can actually decrease performance.

Why is this important?

It adds to growing research showing the benefits of mimicking human thinking processes in AI. It also suggests that simple, human-inspired techniques might be overlooked in the race for better AI models.

SWEET DESSERT

$1 Billion AI ๐Ÿค‘ โšฑ๏ธ

On Wednesday, Safe Superintelligence Inc. (SSI) secured a massive $1 billion in funding. The three-month-old company is now valued at $5 billion.

Who's behind SSI?

An all-star team including Ilya Sutskever (ex-OpenAI), Daniel Levy (ex-OpenAI), and Daniel Gross (ex-Apple AI).

Who invested?

Big names like Andreessen Horowitz, Sequoia Capital, DST Global, and SV Angel.

How does SSI compare to others?

It's now valued just behind Cohere ($5.5B) and Mistral ($6B), despite being much younger.

What's SSI's focus?

They claim a singular focus on AI safety, free from โ€œshort-term commercial pressures.โ€

How big is the company?

Tiny. Just 10 employees split between Palo Alto and Tel Aviv.

What's the money for?

Mainly compute power and attracting top talent with โ€œgood characterโ€ and extraordinary capabilities.

Is this normal in the current economy?

Not at all. While many sectors face tightening investments, AI remains a hot area, especially with star-studded teams.

Bill is the business owner of a small business that generates ten million dollars in revenue. Bill had his cousin Chad do all the IT work in his office.

Sure, it's messy, but it gets the job done.

Today, Bill is explaining to his staff that Chad forgot to back up their networks. There was also a hack last night where their client credit card information was leaked.

All of this could have been prevented if Bill chose Reppert Factor to outsource his IT department.
