PLUS: New AI tools from Amazon
Good morning, human brains. 👋
A portion of today’s newsletter earnings are going to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. As a kid, one of my best friends had an emergency surgery there, made a miraculous recovery, and is now healthy and happy.
I’ve been the Head Writer for Bot Eat Brain for about 1 ½ years, but I became the owner about 4 months ago. Click here for more on that.
I’m grateful and humbled that over 20,000 people with lives, jobs, and families read my newsletter. I love writing it, talking with you, and the opportunities it’s opened up. This is a tiny way I can say thanks and give back a little.
Enough sappy stuff, let’s dig into some AI news. 🫡
Here’s what’s on the menu today:

MAIN COURSE
Will you use Amazon’s art tool? 🎨 🤖
Probably not… 🤷♂️
Yesterday, Amazon launched Titan Image Generator v2. This version gives you more tools and customization options to generate and edit images.
What's new?
The new capabilities include image conditioning, subject consistency, background removal, and color control.
What’s image conditioning?
It allows you to use reference images to guide AI-generated outputs. It preserves key elements like edges and regions to create more precise and tailored results.
Ah, and subject consistency?
It lets you fine-tune the model to accurately depict specific subjects (like products or logos) across multiple generated images.
Background removal. Pretty basic, right?
Yupp. Amazon claims it’s “advanced.” It isolates main subjects from backgrounds so you can integrate them into new scenes as you would expect.
Color control? I have control issues…
You’re in luck. Color Conditioning allows you to input specific color codes for brand consistency.

SIDE SALAD
New audiobook search tool 🧠 📸
Speaking of Amazon…
Yesterday, Audible started beta testing Maven. It’s an AI-powered search feature for audiobook recommendations.
What does it do?
It gives personalized audiobook recommendations based on your requests.
How does it work?
Just input the type of audiobook you're looking for, and it will suggest relevant titles from Audible's catalog.
Anything else?
Audible is also testing AI-curated collections and AI-generated review summaries.
Can I use it now?
It's available to about half of U.S. customers on iOS and Android, but currently only searches a subset of Audible's library.
