On Wednesday, ElevenLabs launched Voice Isolator. It’s an app that eliminates background noise from your videos.

What does it do?

It’s designed for spoken word content like podcasts, audiobooks and more. It claims to eliminate air conditioner hum, nearby traffic, and more unwanted noises from any audio source.

Doesn’t that already exist?

Yupp. Adobe, CapCut, Descript, and more have similar tools available.

So, why do I care?

ElevenLabs says it will release an API for Voice Isolator soon. This means you’ll be able to integrate this feature into your own apps, services, and more.

On June 19, a Phoenix officer pulled over a Waymo that was driving in an oncoming traffic lane.

The Waymo misread construction signs and ran a red light before finally pulling over.

Arizona law doesn’t allow law enforcement to issue tickets to autonomous vehicles.
